Editorial policy. So you can check our work.
Prolify publishes the operating reality of owning a US company from outside the US. This page states how we research, source, date, review and correct that content, so you can check our work. Where a claim would carry a penalty or decide your eligibility, a named US credentialed reviewer signs off before it is published, and their name, credential and review date render on the page.
The source standard.
Every factual claim about a provider policy, tax rule, filing obligation, fee, deadline or eligibility requirement must come from a primary source: the agency, the statute, the form instructions or the provider's own published terms. Each page records the source with its URL and the date we retrieved it, so a claim can be traced back to where it came from and when.
We do not publish a number without a source behind it. If we cannot verify something, we write the gap rather than the guess: the page says what is unverified instead of stating it as fact. When we retrieve a source we keep the exact quote we relied on, so the reading is auditable and does not drift as we summarise.
Review classes.
Every content page declares a review class that sets how much scrutiny it gets before and after it is published.
GREEN
Glossary, general operating guides, founder education. Editor pass only.
YELLOW
Platform spokes, Index cells, comparisons, banking and payments, state pages. Editor plus source verification plus SEO QA.
RED
BOI, Form 5472, sales tax nexus, ITIN and EIN, entity structure, anything carrying a penalty or an eligibility determination. Everything above plus a named US credentialed reviewer whose name, credential and review date render on the page.
A page is never promoted downward to avoid review. If in doubt, it is RED.
On a RED page our reviewers are paid for their judgement, not for a verdict. Prolify pays reviewers a flat fee for their time; reviewers are not compensated based on the commercial outcome of the page.
Corrections.
If something on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Report an error by email to support@prolify.co. We keep a public corrections log, so changes to published claims are visible rather than quietly edited.
Email support@prolify.co, or read the corrections log.
How we use AI.
AI does not write our regulated tax, legal, banking-eligibility or compliance copy. Those pages are written and reviewed by people, with a named US credentialed reviewer on anything carrying a penalty or an eligibility determination.
We never treat AI output as a source, including our own. An AI system can help us draft structure or find a document to read, but the fact still has to come from the primary source, with its URL and retrieval date, before it is published.
